She has helped build the profiles of Fortune 500 companies, highly successful Canadian entrepreneurs, passionate non-profits, and tech startups. Prior to starting NorthPR, Linda worked at global PR agency Hill + Knowlton Strategy, Venture Communications and in-house at Canadian startup, ecobee.
Cassie Prosper
As Director of NorthPR’s consumer hospitality practice, Cassie is a results-driven communications leader specializing in hospitality and restaurants. Her 15-year career includes representing some of Ontario’s finest luxury boutique properties, including The SoHo Hotel, The Hazelton Hotel, The Beach Motel and Rawley Resort, as well as many of the city’s top chefs, including Susur Lee, Mark McEwan, Paul Wahlberg, Bruno Feldeisen, Thomas Salvo, Chris Locke and Claudio Aprile.
Aliya Jiwan-Thawer
Aliya is an award-winning journalist who spent nearly a decade working as a television and radio news reporter, anchor and producer with the CBC, CTV and CP24 in Edmonton, Ottawa, Halifax and Toronto and gained valuable work experience at the CBC bureau in London, England and at SABC in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Following a successful journalism career, she transitioned into the world of public relations, where she worked in large and boutique PR agencies creating and executing public and media relations campaigns in various industries.
Aliya is NorthPR’s go-to media trainer and she runs a comprehensive DIY PR program — Be Your Own Publicist.

Vin is a freelance copywriter and senior communications consultant with an incredible way with words and bringing stories to life.
